Leonardo DiCaprio is said to have spent time ‘browsing through a Victoria’s Secret catalogue’ on the set of one of his blockbusters.
Details of the 49-year-old actor’s penchant for dating models about half his age, many of whom have posed for the lingerie brand, were revealed by filmmaker Edward Zwick , 71, who shared the anecdote. while writing about the Oscar winner’s direction of 2006’s ‘Blood Diamond’ alongside Jennifer Connelly, 53.
In his new book ‘Successes, Failures, and Other Illusions: My Forty-Some Years in Hollywood’, Edward said:
‘It seems that Leo was currently among beautiful girlfriends. One morning I walked into the makeup trailer, as I often did, to talk to him about the day’s work. I found him in the chair waiting for his turn and noticed that he was flipping through a Victoria’s Secret catalogue. “What are you doing?” I asked him. Connelly was in the chair next to him. Without even looking at me, she said: -Shopping-‘.
Edward added that there was only ‘one case of the slightest misconduct’ on his set, and added of the ‘Blood Diamond’ cast:
‘It’s more a testament to their camaraderie than anything else.’
Some have criticized Leonardo for his habit of dating younger, more beautiful women who he tends to break up with once they turn 25.
His former models include Eva Herzigova, Helena Christensen, Erin Heatherton, Gisele Bündchen and Bar Refaeli, and his latest partner is model Vittoria Ceretti, 25, with whom he was first linked in 2023.
Vittoria fronted advertising campaigns for fashion houses such as Chanel, Prada and Dolce and Gabbana and was spotted vacationing with Leonardo in Miami in December.
